In 1993, Connie left her Bloomington-Normal area banking career of 14 years to pursue a sales position in the promotional products industry.  She joined the sales team at the largest promotional products distributor in the nation, Ha-Lo Advertising Specialties, based out of Chicago.  In 1999, she teamed up with C&S Direct Advertising, a Central Illinois distributor of 50 plus years. In 2000, they established CM Promotions, Inc., and in 2004 Connie became the company’s sole owner. 

While continuing to serve clients and combining her lifelong love of music and her eye for fashion, Connie designed a new approach with her promotional products and wearables company.  In 2008, Connie’s other company; Silver Wings Merchandise took flight in Nashville, Tennessee, introducing trendy T-shirt styles and merchandise designs to the music scene. Now, music fans can represent their favorite artists with style and flair!
